Rasun Mehringer was born in Munich, Germany and has lived and worked in the U.S. for 15 years. She has done a broad range of work as well as interned with clients such as Alec Soth, the Photography/Visual Resources Department of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and Artist League Studios. She has a BFA in Media Arts from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her personal work seeks to draw attention to and enhance the eloquence around us by recreating spaces in a synthetic world where spectators can appreciate and feel their surroundings.
