Committed to experimentation and risk-taking, The Soap Factory offers audiences a real and immediate experience of the arts, encouraging a wider understanding of and appreciation for artists and their work.
Based in a 120 year old former factory and warehouse space, The Soap Factory challenges artists to bring their ideas to life in our raw, industrial galleries. The Soap Factory exhibited the work of over 125 artists in 2010 showing brand new performance work, site-specific installations, experimental video and sound pieces in addition to a variety of painting, sculpture and photography.
