Mobile Experiential Cinema is a roving, bicycle mounted cinematic experience that takes advantage of the specific sites at which a film is created. A short narrative film will be projected at multiple sites within the NorthernSpark zones. The film will be presented as individual segments that create a cohesive whole as the ride progresses. Audience members and projectionists travel via bike between sites to build a narrative film arc. The audience will be immersed in a paradox between the film experience and reality, while the narrative story works to blur these boundaries.
Project will begin at 10pm and commence along a predetermined route, ending back at the start. The film will be screened three times throughout the evening during the bike rides in one hour intervals.
Screenings begin at West River Parkway, directly beneath the Hennepin Avenue Bridge at the pavilion.
Screening #1 – 10:00pm – 11:00pm
Screening #2 – 12:00am – 1:00am
