Minnesota Festival Support
This activity is made possible in part by a grant provided by the Minnesota State Arts Board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature from the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
Minnesota Festival Support is a pilot program designed to engage Minnesotans in festivals that celebrate the arts, build community, and expose communities to diverse art forms including folk and traditional arts.
The program provides funding for sponsoring or presenting organizations to feature Minnesota individual artists and Minnesota arts groups in arts festivals, or in the arts components of broader, community-based festivals.

As Student Services Coordinator at McNally Smith College of Music, Aundrea Billings strives to augment out-of-classroom learning opportunities, while serving as an advocate and resource for students. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree concentrated in Communications and Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Aundrea has had an internship in volunteer engagement at Family & Children’s Service (now The Family Partnership) and volunteers regularly with 89.3 The Current. She looks forward to supporting Northern Spark volunteers in her role as Assistant Volunteer Coordinator.

Amy Shaunette moved to the Twin Cities from Portland, Oregon to attend Macalester College, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Media Studies. In her job as Education Coordinator at Public Art Saint Paul, Amy works to strengthen communities and promote awareness of public place through experiencing and making art. She lives in Minneapolis with her cat, Francois, and her bicycle, who does not have a name. Amy looks forward to helping volunteers stay up all night for Northern Spark!

Tom Loftus is a record label owner, nonprofit professional, DJ and one of the directors at the Soap Factory’s Haunted Basement. He earned his masters in Nonprofit Management at Hamline University in 2005 and founded Modern Radio Record Label in 1999. He continues to manage Modern Radio Record Label and be active in the Twin Cities music community. Modern Radio Record Label was named Best Local Label in 2006 by the City Pages. Tom also is involved with a number of Twin Cities nonprofit organizations helping market and promote the good work that they do through social media and planning events to support their missions. He is a member of the Twin Cities Young Nonprofit Professional Network and is helping Nonviolent Peaceforce with Pedal For Peace. As transportation coordinator, Tom will be helping assure smooth transportation of people to the amazing sights of St. Paul and Minneapolis throughout the night.
