MAW Night Light Challenge

MAW, in collaboration with Northern Lights.mn is accepting proposals for the MAW Night Light Challenge (NLC). The NLC invites projects that leverage the MAW mobile projection platform (bikes, projectors, batteries, generators, computers, in public spaces) to create participatory experiences with light during the 2011 Northern Spark festival. Specifically, the MAW NLC seeks projects that are deployed from a single self-sufficient mobile projection vehicle. While MAW’s platform offers a variety of bike-powered projection vehicles (trikes, trailers, backpacks), we also invite proposals that involve assembly of new mobile vehicles for urban projection. MAW NLC accepts submissions in street theater, puppetry, real-time/interactive video, and live audio/visual performance. Each project proposal may only be submitted to one Northern Spark open call.
